Understanding Intellectual Property
COPYRIGHT protects original creative work fixed in a tangible form, such as artwork, photographs and written text.
TRADEMARK protects distinctive names, words, symbols or designs that identify where goods or services come from.
PUBLICITY RIGHTS protect a person’s name, image, voice and likeness, which generally may not be used commercially without permission.
Notice and Takedown Request
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed, send us a Notice and Takedown request that includes:
- A link to the content you believe infringes your rights
- Proof of ownership (for example your official website, portfolio or dated records)
- Your full name and a contact phone number
- The subject line: TAKEDOWN REPORT
